Valentines Day...

To say our Valentines day was great would be an understatement! We had an amazing day... or night I should say!  The kids were spoiled from their grandparents including great and of course from us!
Nic came home to this sign on our bedroom door and wondered what I had going on in there all night long!
We had a very yummy chicken dinner at home that both Nic and I cooked together.  It was seriously the best and very easy, which I love!
After dinner we read some books with the kids and played games until it was finally bedtime for the kids. Ü
After a few adjustments to the bedroom Nic was allowed in.  I had re-done our bed and added curtains-finally- to one of the windows.  The bedroom was lit with candles all over and there were rose pedals leading to the bed and some on the bed with chocolate covered strawberries. I gave Nic a very kinky card with pictures of me all over it! hehehe I will only show one of those said pictures. Ü I also gave him a few little treats, and made him a picture with some important dates on it to go in our room.  We played a newly wed game with a bit of a twist and then went to bed ...

This was my favorite Valentines Day to date!  I LOVE being so in LOVE!!!!

Love♥Love♥Love...

I'm not sure where I am on my lovey dovey stuff so I will just mention a few more things that I love about the people I am surrounded with daily.
Connor, I love that he sometimes won't answer to Connor, I know weird, but the moment you say Buzz he comes running at you with both arms out.  Today I was getting frustrated with him and I picked him up and held him to the side on his belly. Well he immediately changed my attitude when he starting squealing buzz, and flying! I love the laughter that he brings me and the pure joy that he brings to me and our home.  I love that he is healthy, strong, and growing like a weed! I love his squinty smiles for the camera, I love having a little boy, I love that he is all boy.  I love the sounds he makes.  I love tucking him in at night and how he holds a blanket in his right hand and a stuffed animal in his left. And I love that he makes me kiss his stuffed animal goodnight and I love that he thinks it's the funniest thing ever.
Payton, I love how down to Earth she is.  She will show concern to anyone and let them know she is sorry or that she loves them. I love hearing those 3 words from her, and I love that she says it so much.  I love how enthusiastic she is, I love listening to her sweet prayers at bedtime.  I love hearing everything she is thankful for and everything that stood out to her that day.  I love teaching her new things and I love how quickly she pick them up.  I love that she loves taking pictures.  The camera is full of Payton shots.  I love when she is in the shower and gets so excited to see how long her hair is when wet. I love when she comes and gives me hugs and checks in on me.  I love being home with her.  I love listening to her sing, watching her dance, and her reading to Connor. I LOVE being home with my kids!!!
Nic, I love waking up to him every morning, I love when he gives me goodbye kisses, but I love even more the "I'm home kiss" I love kissing him! I love how he gets down and plays with the kids, I love how sweet he is, I love being in his arms, I love when we get to cuddle, I love that he is my BEST friend. I love that he is athletic.  I love watching him play sports.  I love how hot he is all the time.  I love that you take me out on dates.  I love when I get text's during the day. I love that I feel safe when he is around.  I love that he is patient and understanding, especially during this time of year.  I love every minute that I am with him.  I love how patient he is, I love that you will listen to me. I love how he can lift my spirits when I am down.  I love talking about the church with him, and I love hearing his testimony.  I love hearing about mission experiences.  And I love hearing about different events that have changed or impacted his life.  I love our deep conversations we have.  And I love the trust that we have with one another.
Nic you are my best friend and I am so incredibly blessed to have you in my life! Happy Valentines Day babe! I know this is one we won't soon forget! ♥♥♥

Moving Up...

I love that Connor will finally let me read books all the way through to him.  He will come and get me with a handful of books saying, "book".  I love when Payton draws pictures for us.  I especially love the one she just drew of our family.  When she showed me she pointed out who was who but she was missing Connor.  I  asked her where Connor was and she told me, " I didn't want to draw Connor in my family." Sad.  Needless to say I won the battle and she happily added Connor to our family -phew.  I love how excited they both get around 5:30 when dad rings the doorbell. They both quickly run while yelling, "DAD" at the top of their lungs over and over again.
I love how humble Nic is.  He is blessed to know so much about anything and everything but won't show it off.  He will listen to anyone and agree with what they say.  I find this to be an amazing quality, one that I truly admire that he has.  I love how hard he works at home, in his calling, with others, or at his job.  Today he started a new little adventure with his job.  He is officially- unofficially the foreman of the day shift at work.  Today is the first day that they split the job into two shifts.  It's amazing how much this business is growing and progressing.  Nic has a key to the building and has to be to work at 5:30 a.m to start up the machines for when the first shift comes in at 6. It will be so nice to hear the doorbell ring around 3:30 and have Nic home with us.

Imagine That...

I love my children and their cute little imaginations.  Connor will usually follow Payton around and do whatever she does.  But when it comes time that they imagine they are dogs Connor knows all about that! I think they are the cutest little puppies alive!
I love that Nic holds the priesthood and I love that he also bears it.  Saturday night Nic and my dad went over to Jeanne's home to give her a blessing before she left for California again for a few weeks for the trial.  I love that he shows by example the way he honors his priesthood.  How lucky am I to have an honorable priesthood bearer in our home.

It's the Little Things...

I love Connor and Payton's cute perfect little smiles.  They can brighten my day at any point with one simple expression.
I love when Nic leaves me simple little notes expressing the love that he has for me.

The Loves of My Life...

February crept right up on me so I am behind with what I love about my family.  First off is Connor, I LOVE that he is talking now, my favorite words that he says is Thank you, Buzz and bus. I LOVE that he brings me his shoes every morning I think it's the cutest.  And I LOVE that he stays in his bed and bedroom without any problems.
Payton, I LOVE that she is such a smarty pants but won't admit it to anyone.  I LOVE her bubbly, animated, energetic little personality she is the cutest and funniest little girl.  And I LOVE that she loves teaching Connor new things and gets so excited when he learns.
Last but not least, Nic.   I LOVE how absolutely sexy he is.  I LOVE the father that he is and the example he sets for our kids and me. And I LOVE the support he gives to anyone in need.

The Car Story...

For the last while Nic and I have been wanting a new car.. Who doesn't? Last Saturday we were just sitting around so I told Nic we should go test drive some cars so that when we are in the market to get one we would know what we wanted.  As we were getting ready I got a text from the secretary from our ward asking Nic to call him when he had a minute.  Nic called and Jordan told him that he had a couple of cars that he wanted us to come look at.  We went and took a look at the vehicles he had in mind.  We fell in love with the Trailblazer instantly.  In fact the kids started crying when we moved the car seats back into the Cavalier.  Payton said she just wanted to leave the car there and drive home the other.  Which Nic and I could both understand and relate to.  We went about our day and weekend just thinking of the car, we really couldn't get it off our mind. It was so hard to decipher if it felt so good because it would be an upgrade or if it felt so good because it was meant to be.  The whole phone call from Jordan out of the blue couldn't be ignored. The answer became pretty clear on Wednesday when we did some more looking around and test driving and had the worst experience ever.  Again Payton said she just wanted to get the car we drove before. So Wednesday afternoon I went over to John Watson Chevrolet and took the car out for another spin just by myself and prayed and prayed I called Nic and said it felt so good and Nic agreed. So I went back and started signing my life away with all the paperwork and Nic went over that night to finish it all off. Thursday we drove home our new vehicle.  It's a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with 72,000 miles on it and we are extremely giddy about it!  This is Nic and I's first big purchase together and it couldn't have gone smoother.
