The Latest...

I'm going to try to keep up a little bit better by updating at least weekly. On Thursday I had another doctors appointment.  Aubrey is healthy and growing right on schedule.  She is about 4 lbs. and 3 oz. now.  We were able to get some good face looks of her.  From what the ultrasounds show it looks like she will have a well defined chin and her top lip puckers out quite a bit.  I can't wait to meet this little girl.

Only 6 "short" weeks to go!
This picture that Payton drew has been hanging on our fridge for a few months now.  I can see the resemblance now.
On Friday we all tagged along while Nic and my dad went golfing.  We each did a little golfing... or hitting the ball ourselves.

Payton went to an "Inside Out" Birthday party and came home with her face painted like Joy.  I found the face painters instagram page and she posted a picture of Payton that said, "This sweet girl fit the personality of joy so well, her smile could brighten up any room!" I couldn't agree more!
My latest fall decoration.  I look at all of my decorations and probably 90% are ones that I have made.  This one I had Connor help me.  He painted the pumpkins, the nose and the signs stick.  Although the inner part of me wanted to fix the runs and blobs of paint I decided to keep them because he did it and I love it!

What About August...

Another whole month has come and gone without me posting about it.  Well I'll do the best I can with all of the pictures to help remind me.
Summer morning reading to Connor in the tire swing.

I think this is around week 28 into the 3rd trimester!

 Girls camp in Bear Lake..

The fair came and went just as fast as the month.

Craft time for the kids mom!
Lazy summer mornings were pure joy around here.

I drew Russel from Up for the school library.
Bittersweet... We sold my very first car.  So many memories were made in this car from dates to marriage and bringing home Payton and a few years later Connor from the hospital.
Both kids are in soccer this year.
Last time at the pool before it closed we got a bunch of our friends to come swim.

 Payton, Carly, and Avery

Connor went with Nic on a father and sons camp out.
Connor's very first soccer game.  He got a goal and a shiner from getting kicked in the face.  Payton's first game also was a success with her scoring a goal the very last play.
 Floating the Ogden River.
This was right before Connor threw up... He may have had a mild concussion from his game.
Now for the wolf.  We were sitting on the back of Aaron and Tawna's deck having a BBQ when we noticed really big dogs a couple of fields over.  I wanted a better look so I drove up to Washington with my parents and waited to see if we could see them close up.  Finally they came back in sight.  There was a gray one and a black one.  I only got a picture of the gray one. That ain't no dog... That's a wolf.  Turns out someone thought they could raise a wolf.  The police and DWS were called by someone and took the wolf to the shelter but not without a fight.  They found it after it had gotten to some ducks.  Then when they caught it it wasn't going down without a fight.  Apparently it was biting the pole so hard that it started bleeding from it's teeth.  Freaky!! Anyway we can say we saw a wolf and a wolf mix right here in Harrisville.
The very last day of summer we played in the river...

 Found some caterpillars..
 Played at the doctor's office...

And saw Aubrey before heading to back to school night.

First day of first grade!!! She loved every bit of it and still does.  Her teacher has instantly fallen in love with her and raves about her.

Talking to daddy before she goes to school.

 Connor's face says it all.
Apparently there is a National dog day.

 I started to "nest"
Such a fun date night being Nic's caddie!
 Hot stuff!!!

After soccer games I took the kids on a day trip to Bear Lake while Nic worked on some four wheelers.

 Love these two kids!

 33 weeks!!!

We were able to see Jeanne for her granddaughter's wedding.  One more month and she'll be home!
Last Saturday we had a yard sale with Maddie and the kids did a lemonade stand.  Payton loved it, and I'm glad we finally did it since she was asking me all summer long!
We bought a new couch and with it came lots of boxes.  I cut some windows, a door and gave them stickers to decorate it with, they thought it was the best thing ever!
And last but not least.. Here we are in September and Connor had his first day of his last year of Preschool! His teachers are shocked with how much he's grown! He had a great first day and I spent my first day alone taking a nice long bath, maybe next week I'll do something productive.
