Roses are Red...

I know that I say this with the beginning of every season but I love this time of year.  Fall is just around the corner.  I love that the air is cool in the evenings and in the mornings.  I love all of the produce that we get from our garden, and I love the colors in our rose garden.
Living in my grandparents house we inherited my grandmas love for roses.  Though they are a pain (literally) to take care of, every time I'm out working on them I think of all the days grandma and I spent working in her rose garden.  Right now they are beautiful.  I am sure if grandma were still here they would look twice as good.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday...

On Thursday we were able to go up for the evening up to Preston for a family reunion with Nic's Family.
Friday was spent at my cousin Spencer's wedding.  I absolutely love his wife Briana and am so glad she joined the family!

Saturday before heading to the fair we were out helping Aaron and Tawna trim some branches when Nic was swarmed with these black hornets.  I have never seen him run so fast! He got stung twice on his arm and once on his back.  After finding the hive Nic and Aaron got sweet revenge on the hive.  Later that day Aaron found another hive after getting attacked by the hornets as well.  They sure are viscous things.
We were able to watch a bird show at the fair, the guy doing the bird show was on America's Got Talent last year and now has a show in Vegas.  It's amazing what they can teach birds to do.
The kids loved all of the animals...

But it wasn't hard to tell what they loved the most...

We finished off the night at the demolition derby!

A Few Things...

A few weeks ago the kids and I slept out on the tramp, I guess I should rephrase that to the kids slept out on the tramp, I laid there all night long trying to get comfy and sleep.

We got the Coolerado all hooked up and working, no more +90° inside our home!
On Monday my mom and I went to the zoo with all the Field's  to celebrate Brock and McKay's Birthdays.  By far the highlight at the zoo were the seals and the polar bear.  They were so fun to watch!

In honor of "Shark Week" I found this picture to be very fitting.

Sorry about the flash Mr. Gorilla
After the zoo we went to a park to eat dinner and have cake and ice cream.

For my moms birthday I made a magnet board to put all their magnets on of their vacation destinations.
Payton was playing around with the camera so I had to keep this one.
I decided to make a magnet board for us too to clear space on our fridge!
