Pioneer Days Celebrations...

You can't celebrate Pioneer Days without a night sweating at the rodeo.  It is a family tradition that I love!

Payton started throwing a tantrum so Connor thought he needed to do the same...

 Beautiful night...

This is why Nic likes the rodeo...
 Random sidewalk chalk fun...
24th of July parade in Ogden...

Helping Grandpa pick raspberries before our BBQ...
Sparklers before our little firework show...

Swimming Lessons and Lagoon...

Swimming lessons are still going good.  Connor will do anything and everything the instructor asks him to do.  Payton will do the same but will beg and beg to not go under water!

Yesterday we spent the day at Lagoon.  It was very hot but I think that scared people away.  It was our stake Lagoon day so we expected it to be packed, not the case.  We were able to pretty much walk on every ride.  The longest wait we had was at the kids boat ride.  Not because it was crowded but because the worker was so slow to load and unload the kids. We were so glad that we were all able to go and have such a great time!  While we were driving into Lagoon Payton saw the Farris Wheel and yelled out to me, "Mom I want to ride on the Harrisville Wheel!"

Family hike and Drive-in...

Monday night for family night we took the kids on a little hike.  This hike was perfect for the kids they had rocks to climb on bridges to walk over and lots of things to see.  We saw a few deer and even ran into Maddie.
Saturday night we about talked ourselves out of going to the drive-in because the weather looked pretty iffy.  But we decided to go anyway and prepared for a storm .  The weather was beautiful and no storm hit!  We went with our friends Kevin and Amy to see Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University.  Both were very cute.  And surprisingly Payton stayed awake for both movies! Which is more than we can say for everyone else but me.
