18 Month Stats...

Nic took Connor to the doctor on Tuesday for his 18 month appointment and everything looks good.  The doctor still wants to wait on his hernia just to see what time will do.  Connor is our little stud! Although the regular age appropriate actions (crying for no reason, throwing tantrums, etc.) are taking place he is still such a fun kid, and keeps me on my toes.
Weight: 26 lbs. 15 oz. 82%
Height: 34 in. 91%
Head Circumference: 50 cm. 97%
Connor loves and yearns for the time when he can be as independent as his big sister.  He tries to open the doors to the cars, fridge, and house and while getting in the car has to get in all by himself.  He is starting to "run" but isn't quite up to speed nor balance. He is still known for bruises and scrapes on his face.  I continually refer to Connor as my little tornado.  He is constantly in to everything and messes just seem to follow him.  He has a shirt that says "demolition sight ahead" which fits him perfectly! Notice in the picture below he picked my Gerber Dasie's. Grrrr but honestly how mad can you get at a face like that.
Connor still isn't saying too many words, but finally some are clearly starting to be said.  A few of those are mom, dad, bubble, apple, ice, whoa, ow and uh-oh.  He does some very good animal sounds as well.  His neigh for a horse is ear piercing, he imitates a monkey, elephant, cow, cat and dog.  And nails the lion, tiger, gorilla, and dinosaur with a ferocious growl.   And of course his grunts are understood for every word in the dictionary!
He takes one 2-3 hour nap a day and goes to bed at 8:30 and will usually wake around 7:30 in the morning.
Payton is his best friend... most of the time.  He loves her and watches her every move.  I am blessed to have such wonderful healthy children in my life and I absolutely love it!
