Spring Break, and Easter...

For Spring Break this year we or I just did little fun day activities.  Most of which was hiking! I love that my kids love to get out and hike.  I love being so close to so many hikes.  This hike we did with most of the Fields up to Waterfall Canyon.
On the warmest day of the break I chose to go to Antelope Island and do some hiking and play on the beach.  Though it was warm I really didn't expect it to be warm enough to play in the water, but the kids were sure wishing they had their swim suits.  Next time I'll remember them.

 Cute bum where you from?

We went for a little drive on the island and found some buffalo, antelope, and rabbits.

Some of the break we looked like this, probably for longer than I want to admit!
 Easter best...

Easter fell on conference this year and it was tons of fun.

Both baskets were found in the tubs.  They got snorkel gear for Hawaii, and cute summer outfits.

Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Rich's..

All the grand kids.... for now...
Easter Scavenger Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Montgomery's...

Lots of fun stuff from their hunt..
This Easter was a very memorable one.  While at the Rich's Camie and Chad revealed that they are having a girl.  Carley and Kevin announced they were expecting and due in November, and we also announced that we were expecting in October!
We are super excited to finally be pregnant! And it happened on it's own.  I went to the doctors to plan another A.I and while we were there we discovered that my ovaries had cysts.   The doctor told me the heart wrenching news that we needed to take a break and let me body catch up naturally.  With all of the hormone medication that I was on it had over stimulated me.  I started to bawl.  I hated hearing that, but I also think that was a turning point.  I heard it from a doctor that I need to take a break, and some stress was relieved. It happened and we are happy! We are 12 weeks and due October 28!

Connor Turns 4!!!

My little buddy is 4??? I don't know where those 4 years went.  It feels like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital.  He really is my little buddy! I love those moments when he gets exhausted and wants to snuggle up to me! I cherish those moments.  He is such a boy, he loves playing with planes, trains and cars, and everything in between.  He loves being outside and loves riding his bike.  We were able to sign Connor up for t-ball and him and Payton will get to play together... hopefully on the same team!  Connor loves breakfast! He will eat anything breakfast any time of the day, his favorite is cereal.  Most meals he asks for cereal.  His favorite movie is Big Hero Six, I'm pretty sure I have the whole movie memorized!  He loves preschool...but hates having to leave Payton to go to preschool.  He loves his sister, they are the best of friends.  His favorite colors are red and green.  He loves being in Primary and I love hearing him sing the songs.  On his birthday he was able to give the scripture and he did an excellent job.  I sure do love this little boy so much.  I'm excited to see what this year has in store for him!

Early morning hike up Waterfall Canyon...

Last Friday he did a somersault off of Weston's bunk bed, he was very lucky that this was all that happened.

What February???

I can't believe I missed a whole month of blogging.  That may be a first.  I don't know where February went, but it sure went by fast.  And sadly I don't have many pictures to back up the month.  We need something exciting to happen in our lives apparently.
Nic is still on the mend from his surgery.  There are times where he feels a sharp pain in between where they inserted the mesh and where the incisions are, we're not sure why.  This week he hasn't complained about it, so hopefully we're almost over that.
A few weeks ago Nic and I were called into the stake presidents office... Oh boy! We were happy to find out that we were wanted for Ma and Pa for our stake trek which will be the end of June.  We're pretty excited and overwhelmed with all that goes into that! After reading a 22 page packet on our responsibilities I will be glad to have a meeting on Sunday to discuss any questions we have.
That's pretty much all of the news we have for now, so here are some pictures of the last few weeks.... Maybe even from January... Oops.
