Labor Day Weekend...

We had such a great Labor Day Weekend with both of our families.  The majority of it was spent up at the Thomsen cabin with the Rich's.  We spent most of the weekend getting nice and muddy! Everyday there were storms but we didn't care we made the most of it and created some really great memories.
 Grandpa reading a bedtime story..
 Ready to ride...

And he thought he was muddy then...

Morgan wanted to ride the 4 wheeler so Nic traded, don't you just love the perfect glove lines...
A little on the scary side, as we were riding back to the vehicles a big storm came in and we could see the lightning hitting the ground just a few yards in front of us.  We booked it to the cars and put the kids right in.  We weren't going to mess around!

The water was pretty brown when they were done...

 Camie's cover from the rain...

Monday we left the cabin and went to Park City for our annual alpine slide tradition with the Montgomery's.  This year Connor was big enough to go on the slides, but not the coaster.  When we got to the slide he wanted nothing to do with it.  It took all Nic and I had to keep him on the sled while waiting for our turn to go down.

The moment they started to move Connor was perfectly fine and raising his hands in the air while going down...

He loves chocolate ice cream!

First Day of Preschool...

Payton had her first day of preschool today and she loved it!! She is so excited for Thursday!

Connor did very well with Payton being gone.  I thought he would throw a fit when we left her, but he was ok as long as he had his "pack pack".

Where Has the Time Gone...

Tomorrow is Payton's first day of Preschool.  I can't believe she is old enough for this.  I'm so excited for her.  Her preschool is full of her friends, including Weston.  She is going to love it.  Last Tuesday we had her back to school night where she got to meet her teachers and play games, eat food, and decorate a bus for her cubby to put her backpack in.  I have never used elmers glue with her before so for it being her first time she did awesome!
Friday night was the father and sons outing for our stake so Payton and I got to have a girls night out.  We went to dinner with Nic's mom and then came home and watched Dennis the Menace -her choice- ok we watched it for about a half hour before both of us fell asleep, it felt awesome.
Saturday Payton had her first soccer game! And oh my goodness was it fun. She had a blast and can't wait to play again! These girls are so dang cute and a riot to watch!
Today after our weekly library trip we went and fed the ducks.  The kids were being swarmed by them, but they didn't mind, they loved every second of it.

Latest Projects...

I don't know if it's just the time of year or what but I have been wanting to make some crafts.  Over the past few days I have been feeding that itch.  I realize it's early to decorate for Halloween, but I was done looking at my 4th of July decorations.
