Irrigation started last week it's unbelievable how cold the water is and yet it doesn't phase the kids at all. This day it wasn't even that warm outside but they insisted on playing in the water.
That night we had a combined activity with the YM and went on a hike up to Waterfall Canyon. I loved getting out and hiking. The temperature was perfect for hiking and the storm held out on us until we got to the parking lot.
Saturday we were able to go to the Draper Temple with my cousin as him and his fiance took out their endowments. I must say the Draper Temple is one of the most beautiful temples I have been in. We got home and Nic had planned with some friends to go to the Drive-in. Never in a million years would I have thought that we would have become such good friends with the last person I dated before Nic, especially with how it ended. But now that the awkward stage is over we have a good time together.
Mothers Day was great this year. I loved watching Payton sing during sacrament, she really knows how to make me happy with her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. Nic wrote me a wonderful note and planted flowers in my flower pots. Being a mother is one of the greatest blessing in my life. I am so grateful for a Father in Heaven who found me fit to bring up his children. I love being a mom!

It's Your Love...
It's your love
Just does something to me
Sends a shock right through me
I can't get enough
And if you wonder
'Bout the spell I'm under
It's your love
Better than I was
More than I am
All of that happened
By taking your hand
Who I am now
Is who I've wanted to be
Now that we're together
Stronger than ever, happy and free
Oh, it's a beautiful thing
Don't think I can keep it all in
And if you ask me why I'll change
All I gotta do is say your sweet name
It's Your Love
I want everyone to know how much I LOVE my husband! Not a day goes by that we don't exchange those 3 words to each other! He means the world to me and is my second half. With out him I don't know how I would be able to function. My world would fall apart with out his love and support in all that I do. Today I went to a very sad funeral where the father died all too soon, leaving behind his wife and 4 young children. I wonder sometimes why some are faced with such big trials, but I know the Lord will not put us through something we can't handle.
I am so grateful to have my husband, my best friend, my shoulder to lean on, my everything. I love you Nic!!!

Nic's Birthday, and lots of pictures...
Nic turned 28 on Monday the 29th. It has become an annual tradition to go to the AMA Super cross for his birthday, since it's always right around his birthday that it comes to Salt Lake City. This year the stadium was packed and we are sure it was because of the weather. We have gone for several years and have experienced all type of weather but this year was the first that it was sunny and warm. Nic kept telling me that he loves that I love to do this kind of stuff with him. I love him so much and love the time we get to spend together. Monday we went to dinner at Tepanyaki with our families. We had such a great time all together and may have started up a new tradition. It was Nic and I's first time there and we loved it!
These next pictures are a little out of order but they are just of a few things we have done. Before the super cross we had thestake family 5K we were so impressed with Payton. She rode her little trike the entire way. Her little legs were going as fast as they could but with such little rotation of the pedals she was doing much more work then what was showing. She did it all with out complaining and kept telling us that her tennis shoes are awesome because they don't make her tired. She ran the last 50 yards of the 5K I couldn't believe her energy.
A couple of weeks ago Payton finished reading the beginner books that the school sends home so I rewarded her with her very own Library Card. We have since been back several times to get more books. She loves that she is reading "real books" now.
Also before the super cross and after the 5K Nic helped chop down a nasty cotton tree from my parents back yard. He admitted to me that it scared him and that he was shaking pretty bad.
I remember when I was younger and with friends and family we would get in cattail wars it makes the biggest mess but it's so much fun.
Since the super cross and our weekend trip to the Knolls Nic has been having this itch to go riding, I must admit I have too. So last night we went out in the field and played around for awhile.
